February 5 - 7, 2010 - Carolina Chocolate Festival - Annual Carolina Chocolate Festival in Morehead City. Chocolate in all shapes and sizes!
The Carolina Chocolate Festival is at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City, North Carolina. Admission: Adult tickets $8, Children's tickets 12 and under $2. Free admission with military I.D. on Sunday! Some events have a nominal additional charge. For more information, call (877)848-4976.

February. 12, 2010 - Art from the Heart - The show will be at the former Carteret News-Times building in the 4000 block of Arendell street in Morehead City across from the Hampton Inn. Admission to the show is free. In 2008, there were approximately 350 pieces of original artwork in all media presented by artists from Carteret, Craven, Pamlico and Onslow Counties. February 12 - 14, 2010 - New Bern Antique Show - New Bern Riverfront Convention Center 203 South Front Street, New Bern, NC. Come enjoy the largest antique show east of Raleigh featuring a variety of antique dealers selling quality goods such as furniture, linens, silver, toys, glassware and much more! February 17, 2010 - Empty Bowls Fundraiser - The EMPTY BOWLS luncheon to raise money for area soup kitchens and pantries will be held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center on Arendell Street in Morehead City, N.C., 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Tickets MUST be bought in advance and will be on sale by January 3, 2008. The ticket allows the participant to a choice of a delicious soup donated by area restaurants and to select a wonderful pottery bowl handmade by local professional and student potters.
