July 4, 2010 - Emerald Isle Fourth of July Celebration - Co-sponsored by Bogue Inlet Pier, begins at 9pm. Fireworks set off from the end of Bogue Inlet Pier, 8500 block, Emerald Isle NC. For more information call (252)354-6350.

July 4, 2010 - Swansboro Fourth of July Celebration - A spectacular display of fireworks over the White Oak River. Swansboro and Cedar Point partner to make this event one your sure to remember. July 4, 2010 - Morehead City July 4 Celebration - 7 - 11pm, Jaycee Park, 9th & Shepard Streets, Morehead City, NC. Fireworks begin at 9pm from Sugarloaf Island. Flashpoint performs 7 - 11pm. July 4, 2010 - Beaufort NC Fourth of July - Fourth of July Parade & Community Picnic along the downtown Beaufort waterfront is an old-fashioned tradition in historic Beaufort. The parade includes all the Norman Rockwell ingredients: kids, pets, wagons, flags and music. Parade starts 11:00 AM. Potluck community picnic follows at the Carteret County Courthouse at Turner & Broad streets. Come and bring a dish to add! For more information contact Martha Barnes at (252)728-3917.

July 15, 2010 - Beach Jive After Five - 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Located at the Western Ocean Regional Access in Emerald Isle. Featuring: DEJA GROOVE (Bluesy Rock & Soul with a Country Twang). Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and coolers or even dinner. Enjoy live music and the tranquil ocean breeze. This beach access also features sand volleyball courts, picnic tables and restrooms. July 15 - 17, 2010 - Billfish Tournament - Barta Boys and Girls Club Billfish Tournament held on the beautiful Beaufort Docks is a unique fishing event for the Crystal Coast area. A billfish release-only event with Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin and King Mackerel Gamefish Divisions. All kids 16 years or younger will receive a trophy for participation if they do not win in the Jr. Angler Division. In addition to fishing, 10 of the world’s greatest marine artist including Guy Harvey, Carey Chen, and Larry McCarter are on hand displaying their artwork.
